From the time Thomas Kinkade and his young bride, Nanette,
summoned the courage to spend their entire life savings in order to publish his first Limited Edition print
in 1984 until now, it has always been Thom’s goal to share his art with as many people as possible. Over the years, he
has become known as the “Painter of Light™” and an artist of the American culture – and most collected artist
of all time. His light-infused, inspirational images of idyllic cottages, city scenes, landscapes, and American icons bring
hope and joy to millions worldwide. We invite everyone
to join us in celebrating the 25th anniversary of Thomas
Kinkade as a published artist. Nanette has always had a big part in
the art of Thomas Kinkade and his incredible achievement of bringing light
and beauty to our homes and families
Thom has attempted in this painting to pay tribute to
Nanette, not only as his bride, but also as the driving force behind
creating the publishing business that has become The Thomas Kinkade Company.
Thomas Kinkade and the Thomas Kinkade Company has now become the largest
publisher of fine art in America.
"As a tribute to Nanette, I am creating this beautiful
cottage named in her honor. Also, during this my Silver anniversary as
a published artist, all of the images I paint will have 25 hidden letter N's
as a tribute to Nanette. I hope you enjoy Nanette's Cottage as much as
I enjoyed creating it."
